Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling, I can work to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after a traumatic event. I work with you to help you move beyond the effects of trauma, while guiding you through the process of grief and healing.

For 16 years now I've been working with people who struggle with both under- and over-eating. I understand the internal battle you go through; and I know how to work to help you overcome your painful eating patterns.
Addiction can show up in our lives in different ways, and it's a devastating and destructive force that can be difficult to overcome alone. Alcohol, drugs, gambling, food, and sex addictions are the most widely acknowledged. There are also video games, television, social media, workaholism, even an addiction to being busy. The tendency to become addicted has both genetic and environmental roots, and both need to be addressed in recovery. If you struggle with addiction, working with a skilled counselor can help you get past the old behaviours, and create a new life that's free of addiction. I've worked with people struggling with addiction for over 27 years now; I can help.
One of the most important things we need as humans is to be seen and heard, to know that someone has noticed us and our story. It's often in talking that we find the answers we need, without anyone telling us what to do. Just listening to ourselves can be a great source of inspiration and information. Covid-19 has shown us that we can often function as well online as we can in person. This is certainly true of counseling. I offer both in-person and online counseling services, with most of my clients being online. I live 20 minutes outside of Windsor, ON; the choice is yours!
